Native Texan

  • Edward Krenek, a proud native Texan from Orchard, Texas, has dedicated his life to serving Fort Bend County with integrity and expertise. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 1984 with a BBA in Accounting, Edward launched his career as a senior CPA with the predecessor firm to Ernst & Young. His journey then took a friendly detour to the University of Texas School of Law, where he earned his law degree with honors in 1988.
  • As the founder of Krenek Law Offices in Katy, Texas, Edward has spent over 35 years passionately advocating for justice. He has first-chaired hundreds of trials and handled thousands of legal matters, representing clients before the Texas Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and various Texas appellate courts.  His double board certification in Consumer and Commercial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization underscores his unparalleled legal expertise.

Beyond The Courtroom

  • Edward is deeply committed to his community. He serves as President of the Fort Bend County Emergency Services District #4 Board of Commissioners and as Legal Counsel for the Fort Bend County Republican Party. Edward supports numerous local organizations, including the Fulshear Police Foundation, Fort Bend Rancher’s Ball, Fort Bend County Fair, Family Hope, and many others. He is actively involved in the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar, the Texas Bar Foundation, the Brazos River Rotary Club, and the Fulshear Regional Chamber for Commerce. Edward's 35-year membership with the Knights of Columbus further exemplifies his dedication to community service.
  • Edward also has a lighter side; he’s a professional drummer, playing with local bands like Al Sulak and the Country Sounds. Married to Tricia Krenek, they share a lively blended family of eleven, including four children, three granddaughters, and their beloved dog, Bella. The Kreneks are active members of St. Faustina Catholic Church and proudly call Fort Bend County home.

Edward's extensive legal background, combined with his community involvement and approachable personality, makes him an ideal candidate for the 400th District Court Judge. His deep understanding of the issues facing Fort Bend County, from economic development and healthcare access to public safety and education, ensures that he will bring knowledgeable and compassionate leadership to the bench.
